The 14th Regiment Armory, also called the Eighth Avenue Armory or Park Slope Armory, is a National Guard armory on Eighth Avenue between 14th and 15th Streets in Brooklyn's South Slope neighborhood. Built in 1891–95 to a design by William A. Mundell in the Late Victorian style, its brick and stone castle-like form evokes medieval European military architecture. Constructed for the 14th Regiment of the New York State Militia, it has housed a women's homeless shelter since the 1980s. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1994 and designated a New York City landmark in 1998.
