The 1841 Goshen Courthouse stands on Main Street (NY 207) in the center of Goshen, New York, seat of Orange County. Designed in the Greek Revival style by local architect Thornton M. Niven, it was meant as a twin of the courthouse he had already built in Newburgh. It served as a courthouse until 1970, when the Orange County Government Center opened, and it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975.
