2000 Pennsylvania Avenue, also known as Western Market and formerly The Shops at 2000 Penn and Red Lion Row, is a commercial complex in Washington, D.C. It combines a shopping center with an eight-story office building and forms a gateway to the main campus of George Washington University, which owns the property. The terrace of houses on the 2000 Block of Eye Street NW, built in 1831 in the Federal and Italianate styles, was named a D.C. Landmark and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1977.
