834 Fifth Avenue is an Art Deco apartment tower on the Upper East Side of Manhattan, built in 1931 to designs by Rosario Candela, a prolific designer of luxury apartment buildings of his era. The limestone-clad luxury housing cooperative stands at the corner of East 64th Street, opposite the Central Park Zoo, and is widely regarded as one of the most prestigious apartment houses in New York City.
