Adanac Military Cemetery near Miraumont, France, is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission burial ground designed by Herbert Baker that contains 3,187 interments from World War I, of which 1,483 are identified. Formed after the war through the consolidation of several smaller cemeteries into a single concentration cemetery, the site honors the war dead from across the Commonwealth, with over five hundred of those interred being Canadian—a connection reflected in the cemetery's name, which reverses the word "Canada" to distinguish it from another cemetery of the same name established near Cambrai in October 1918.
