Bezirk Mitte, Germany

Exterior only
Visible from the street; the inside is private.
The AEG Turbine Factory stands at Huttenstraße 12–16 in Berlin's Moabit district, designed by Peter Behrens, whose best-known work it is. Built in 1909, the 100-metre steel-framed building has glass windows about 15 metres tall along both sides and is considered the first attempt to bring restrained modern design to industrial architecture.
