Ajloun Castle, also known as Qalʻat ar-Rabad or the Castle of Saladin, is a 12th-century Muslim fortress on a hilltop in the Mount Ajloun district of northwestern Jordan. The Ayyubids built it in the 12th century and the Mamluks enlarged it in the 13th, and from its elevation it guarded three wadis descending toward the Jordan Valley.
