Akmeņrags Lighthouse stands on the Latvian coast of the Baltic Sea, south of the resort town of Pāvilosta in Saka Parish. Completed in 1921 and rising 38 metres, it is a national industrial monument. It guards a stony sand bank that extends about 3.7 kilometres north-west of the tower, in waters averaging roughly 2 metres deep, making it a key navigation point on a dangerous stretch of the Baltic.
