Taunton, United States

Visible from the street; the inside is private.
The Albert Field Tack Company is a former industrial site at 19 Spring Street in Taunton, Massachusetts, beside the Mill River. Built in 1868 for a company founded in the 1820s to make tacks and nails, its main office building is unusually high-style for a factory setting, reflecting the Italianate style. Added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1984, the building has since been converted into apartments.
