The Alexander Nevsky Cathedral is a Russian Orthodox cathedral in Izhevsk, Udmurtia, dedicated to St. Alexander Nevsky. Erected between 1818 and 1823 in the Neoclassical style, it was designed by Semyon Dudin and modelled on St. Andrew's Cathedral in Kronstadt. It has a round golden cupola, an Ionic portico and a steepled bell tower. In the Soviet years it stood without its dome and served as a cinema. It is a federal cultural heritage site.
