The Allan Memorial Institute is a former psychiatric hospital and research institute at 1025 Pine Avenue West in Montreal, Canada, affiliated with McGill University and the Royal Victoria Hospital. Built in 1940 in the Renaissance Revival style and opened in 1943, it became internationally known for psychiatric research, particularly under director Donald Ewen Cameron in the 1950s and 1960s, whose experiments partly received covert CIA funding through Project MKUltra.
