The American Cathedral in Paris, formally the Cathedral Church of the Holy Trinity, stands at 23 avenue George V in the 8th arrondissement, between the Champs-Élysées and the Seine. Designed by George Edmund Street in the Gothic Revival style and begun in 1881, it rises to 85 metres. It is one of the oldest English-speaking churches in Paris, the gathering church of the Convocation of Episcopal Churches in Europe, and part of the Anglican Communion. It is a monument historique inscrit.
