Amin al-Dawla Caravanserai is a Qajar-era trading plaza—one of several timchehs within the grand Bazaar of Kashan in Isfahan Province, Iran—constructed from brick, tile, and plaster. Originally designed as a commercial hub on the historic Silk Road, its chambers traditionally hosted the sale of locally woven rugs and imported textiles. Beyond commerce, the plaza has become a significant religious and cultural venue: during Muharram, Shi'a groups known as Hai'ats gather to sing elegies commemorating Imam Hussein and events at Karbala. Today it houses antique shops and traditional teahouses alongside its enduring mercantile function, and is recognized as part of Iran's National Heritage.
