Designed by Oscar Quinaut in the Art Deco style, it was built in 1932 on the site of the 1911 Charleroi Exhibition and decommissioned in 1984. In 2002 it was converted into 33 apartments by Pierre Blondel and Thomas Vandenberghe, and the former pool basin became a garden beneath a skylit patio.
