Longshan Temple, located on the foot of Mount Long in Anhai Town, Fujian, China, is a Buddhist temple founded in 1708 that has been transformed and expanded repeatedly throughout its history. The temple houses a statue of Thousand-armed and eyed Guanyin, traditionally attributed to the ancient Indian monk Yilisha, and contains dozens of structures built after the Ming dynasty (1368–1644). Recognized as a Major Historical and Cultural Site Protected at the National Level and designated a National Key Buddhist Temple in Han Chinese Area, Longshan Temple serves as the ancestral temple of approximately 400 Buddhist temples of the same name in Taiwan, underscoring its significance in the broader Buddhist tradition.
