Anvaing Castle, also called Château de Lannoy, is a historic residence in the village of Anvaing in Frasnes-lez-Anvaing, Hainaut, Wallonia, Belgium, and a protected heritage property. A castle has occupied the site since the First Crusade, with the first known reference dating from 1127. The castle is chiefly notable as the place where the Belgian capitulation was signed on 28 May 1940, during the Battle of the Lys, when it served as headquarters of the German 6th Army. A German officer later fired a shot into the ceiling, which remains.
