Ashford Castle stands near Cong, on the border of County Mayo and County Galway in Ireland, on the Galway side of Lough Corrib. It is a mainly Victorian and medieval castle that has been expanded over the centuries and converted into a five-star hotel. The castle was formerly owned by the Guinness family.
