Koper Cathedral, the Catholic cathedral of the Diocese of Koper in Koper, Slovenia, was built in the second half of the twelfth century in Romanesque style with three naves, each ending in an apse. Its western facade became Gothic and was later redesigned in 1488 with Renaissance elements. The four-storey Italianate bell tower houses one of Slovenia's oldest bells, dated 1333. Baroque remodelling under Giorgio Massari added paintings, including Vittore Carpaccio's Holy Conversation of 1516.
