Located between Lisbon's Bairro Alto and Madragoa neighborhoods, the Atelier-Museum Júlio Pomar opened in 2013 as a dedicated space for the work of artist Júlio Pomar (1926–2018). Designed by Álvaro Siza Vieira, the 1992 Pritzker Prize–winning architect, the museum houses approximately 1,500 works by Pomar and associated artists, presenting them through temporary exhibitions, events, and educational programming that sustain the artist's legacy and cultural influence.
