The Aurora Highlands Historic District is a National Register of Historic Places-listed neighborhood in South Arlington, Virginia, formed from three subdivisions platted between 1896 and 1930. Its modest single-family houses are mostly Colonial Revival, and its oldest dwelling, associated with Sunnydale Farm, is a Greek Revival house built about 1870. In the early 1970s, the district became the site of the first residential zoned parking program in the United States, begun to curb commuter spillover from Crystal City. The U.S. Supreme Court upheld it in Arlington County Board v. Richards.
