The Australian War Memorial is a national war memorial, museum and archive in Campbell, a suburb of Canberra, Australia, dedicated to all Australians who have died as a result of war. Designed by Emil Sodersten and John Crust in the Art Deco style, it was established through federal legislation in 1925 and opened to the public in 1941. Its Memorial Building houses most of the galleries and the Hall of Memory, where the Tomb of the Unknown Australian Soldier was installed in 1993.
