Auxerre Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Stephen, is a Roman Catholic church in Auxerre, Burgundy, France, built in the Gothic style between the 13th and 16th centuries on the site of an 11th-century Romanesque cathedral. That earlier building's crypt survives beneath it and contains 11th-century Carolingian frescoes. The cathedral is known for its large stained glass windows and has been the seat of a diocese united with that of Sens Cathedral since 1823.
