Avinguda de la Llum was an underground shopping mall beneath Carrer de Pelai in Barcelona, Spain, and the first of its kind to open in Europe. It opened in 1940, on a site built in 1929, with 68 shops and a cinema. It closed on 21 May 1990 after decades of urban decline. Its main corridor now forms part of a Sephora store in the successor El Triangle centre, and the building is recognised as part of Catalonia's cultural heritage.
