B'er Chayim Temple is a Reform Jewish congregation and synagogue in Cumberland, Maryland, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Built in 1866 in the Greek Revival style, it is the oldest synagogue building in continuous use as a synagogue in Maryland and the sixth oldest in the United States. Its name, transliterated from Hebrew, means "Well of Life," a metaphor in which the Torah is likened to water.
