The National Museum of Railroad History & Innovation, commonly called the B&O Railroad Museum, occupies the Mount Clare Station and adjacent roundhouse in Baltimore, Maryland. The Baltimore and Ohio Railroad opened it on July 4, 1953, as the Baltimore & Ohio Transportation Museum. Its Georgian-style buildings were designed by Ephraim Francis Baldwin. The museum, a National Historic Landmark, stands on 40 acres of the Mount Clare Shops, the oldest railroad manufacturing complex in the United States.
