Baden-Powell House, now more commonly called Queen's Gate House, is a modern conference centre in South Kensington, London, designed by Ralph Tubbs. Built as a tribute to Lord Baden-Powell, founder of Scouting, it was largely funded by the Scout Movement and opened in 1961 by Queen Elizabeth II. It served as headquarters for The Scout Association and as a hostel for Scouts, Guides and the public before being sold to Mander Portman Woodward, who run it as an events and conference venue.
