Baghaberd is a fortress in Andokavan village in Armenia's Syunik region, within the historical Dzork province of Syunik in Greater Armenia. Dating from the 4th century, it served as a military stronghold until its capture in 1170, and during the Kingdom of Syunik (970–1170) it was the main link in the defense system protecting the capital, Kapan.
