Completed in 1929 in Vyborg, the Bank House on Leningradsky Prospekt exemplifies Nordic Classicism through the work of Finnish architects Paavo Uotila and Juhani Viiste. This banking structure reflects the architectural interchange between Finland and the Russian city during the interwar period, when Vyborg remained part of independent Finland. The building's restrained classical idiom and functional design are characteristic of the Nordic interpretation of modernist classicism that prevailed in Scandinavian architecture of that era. Now recognized as a regional cultural heritage site in Russia, it stands as a testament to Vyborg's cosmopolitan architectural heritage.
