Barncastle, also known as Kline Cottage, is a historic house at 125 South Street in Blue Hill, Maine, now operating as an inn and restaurant. Finished in 1884 to a design by Blue Hill native George Asa Clough, it was built by Effie Hinckley Ober, who first called it Ideal Lodge. It is one of the town's earliest and largest summer cottages, and its idiosyncratic features include a bellcast-topped turret on the main facade and a central staircase that rises in stages. The house is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
