The Barquisimeto Cathedral (Catedral Metropolitana de Barquisimeto) is a Roman Catholic cathedral on Avenida Venezuela in Barquisimeto, Venezuela. Designed by Jan Bergkamp as his first major project, it began in 1953 and was completed in 1968. Its exterior is shaped like an upside-down flower, with two wings joined by a central tower, and its ceiling of acrylic panels hangs from a network of steel wires.
