The Basilica della Santissima Annunziata del Vastato is a Roman Catholic basilica in Genoa, northern Italy, built from 1520 in marble and listed as Italian national heritage. Its decoration employed the major Baroque studios and artists active in Genoa in the 17th century. The name refers to the Vastato area outside the city walls, where houses had been demolished for defensive reasons.
