The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Apostle in Eger, Hungary, is the cathedral of the Archdiocese of Eger, a Neoclassical church designed by József Hild and built between 1831 and 1837 at the commission of Archbishop János László Pyrker. It is a three-naved basilica with a transept and a dome about 40 metres above ground. Its eastern porch portal is designed like a Greek temple, and the facade is supported by Corinthian columns rising 17 metres.
