Basilica Therma, located in Yozgat Province, Turkey, is an ancient Roman spa town believed to be the site of Aquae Saravenae, though scholars dispute this identification with a nearby location in Kırşehir. Built in the 2nd century, the complex features three thermal pools fed by naturally hot springs reaching approximately 45°C. The largest pool measures 23.30 by 12.80 meters with a depth of 1.34 meters; an inner pool of 16 by 4 meters has symmetrical ladders on both sides, while a third pool, 15 by 5.20 meters with semi-circular ends, receives thermally heated water welling from the floor. After its Roman construction, the bath remained in use through Byzantine, Seljuk, and Ottoman periods and continues to operate as a public facility today. The site was added to UNESCO's Tentative World Heritage List in 2018.
