Demolished or destroyed.
Beaumont Palace stood just outside the north gate of Oxford, Oxfordshire, a Romanesque royal residence Henry I intended around 1130, close to his hunting lodge at Woodstock. Granted to the Carmelites, it was dismantled at the Reformation, and its stone was reused in Christ Church and St John's College. The last remains were destroyed when Beaumont Street was laid out in 1829.
