The Bedford Block is a historic commercial building located at 99 Bedford Street in Boston's Church Green area. Built in 1875 and designed by Charles Amos Cummings and Willard T. Sears, it exemplifies the Venetian Gothic style—a movement championed by John Ruskin—and represents a rare local example of this architectural approach in Boston. The building's High Victorian Gothic details and Venetian influences distinguish it within the city's commercial architecture. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979.
