Bevergern Castle, a modest fortified structure dating to around 1100, once stood in the farming village of Bevergern within the borough of Hörstel in Westphalia's Tecklenburg Land. Classified as a Burgstall—a term denoting a castle of which little survives—the structure was destroyed in 1680 when Ferdinand II of Fürstenberg, Bishop of Münster, ordered it blown up.
