Biella Cathedral, dedicated to Saint Stephen, is a Roman Catholic cathedral and the episcopal seat of the Diocese of Biella in Piedmont, Italy. Built of brick, the current church was begun in 1402 by master mason Giovanni Borri as a vow to the Madonna of Oropa after the plague of 1399. It was elevated to a cathedral in 1772, when Neo-Gothic elements were added, largely financed by the House of Savoy.
