In Joachimsthal, Brandenburg, a 21-metre brick and concrete water tower has been repurposed as a private residence under the Biorama Project. Originally built to serve utilitarian functions as both a water tower and observation structure, this architectural heritage monument represents an adaptive conversion of industrial infrastructure into residential space. The tower's modest height and solid materiality mark it as a characteristic example of Brandenburg's early-to-mid twentieth-century utility architecture, now preserved as a monument while serving contemporary domestic use.
