The Black-Elliott Block is a commercial building on Main Street in downtown Zanesville, Ohio, near the Muskingum County Courthouse. Built in 1876 in the Italianate style, it was commissioned by the partnership of Henry Elliott and Peter Black, each of whom ran a store in its 31-foot front. Constructed of brick on a sandstone foundation with iron elements, it was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1979 for its architecture, its exterior having changed little since the nineteenth century.
