Blatnica Castle is a Gothic castle ruin near the village of Blatnica, at the foot of the Greater Fatra Range in Slovakia. Built in the 13th century to guard a major trade route running north from Nitra, it passed to the Révay family in 1540, who significantly extended it in the second half of the 16th century. It has been abandoned since 1744 and is protected as cultural heritage of Slovakia.
