BNY Mellon Center is a modern, 55-story skyscraper at 500 Grant Street in downtown Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Designed by Welton Becket and completed in June 1984, it rises 725 feet (221 m) and is the city's second-tallest building. Its eight-sided form and mansard roof set it apart, and it was first named One Mellon Center before taking its current name in 2008.
