Demolished or destroyed.
The Braunes Haus was a city palace in Maxvorstadt, Munich, standing between Karolinenplatz and Königsplatz and formerly known as the Palais Barlow. Built in the Neoclassical style in 1828, it was purchased for the Nazis in 1930 and converted into the headquarters of the National Socialist German Workers' Party, where Adolf Hitler and other leading Nazis kept offices. Its name came from the brown uniforms of early party members. Allied bombing destroyed it during World War II.
