The Burmalı Mosque, also called the Mosque with the Spiral Minaret, is a 16th-century Ottoman mosque in Saraçhane park in Istanbul's Fatih district, Turkey. Built in 1550 on behalf of Emin Nuretti Efendi, qadi 'asker of Egypt, it is known for its spiraling brick minaret, a copy of a Seljuq design unique in Istanbul. Rather than a dome, it has a pitched porch resting on four reused Byzantine Corinthian stone columns, with an off-center entrance behind one column.
