The Ca' de Sass is a monumental 19th-century palazzo at 6 and 8 Via Monte di Pietà in central Milan, Italy, now the headquarters of Intesa Sanpaolo. Architect Giuseppe Balzaretto began the design in 1868, drawing largely on Florence's Palazzo Strozzi and Renaissance bank buildings, and completed it in 1872. Its rusticated walls, mullions and terraces mark it as a Renaissance Revival work within an eclectic idiom.
