Café de Unie was a De Stijl landmark designed by J. J. P. Oud and completed in Rotterdam in 1925. Located on the Coolsingel, the building exemplified the geometric abstraction and primary-color palette characteristic of the De Stijl movement. The café was demolished in 1940, though it was later reconstructed at a different location, preserving this important modernist design for subsequent generations.
