The Canaan Street Historic District covers the original town center of Canaan, New Hampshire, a largely linear stretch running along Canaan Street from Prospect Hill Road in the north to Moss Flower Lane in the south. The town first grew as a stagecoach stop and later as a late 19th-century resort colony. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1973, the district includes 60 contributing buildings and is recognized for its Greek Revival architecture.
