Capernaum Church stands at Seestraße 34 in the Wedding locality of Berlin's Mitte borough. Completed in 1900 to designs by Karl Siebold, it is a brick building in the Romanesque Revival style and is protected as an architectural heritage monument. It is one of two places of worship of the Lutheran Capernaum Congregation, part of the Evangelical Church of Berlin-Brandenburg-Silesian Upper Lusatia. The church is named after Capernaum, the town in present-day Israel where Jesus is said to have taught in the synagogue.
