The Cappella Paolina is a Renaissance chapel in the Apostolic Palace, Vatican City, separated from the Sistine Chapel by the Sala Regia. Designed by Antonio da Sangallo the Younger, it holds Michelangelo's two frescoes, The Conversion of Saul and The Crucifixion of St Peter, painted between 1542 and 1549. Contemporaries largely viewed the works as disappointments.
