Carlin's Amoco Station is a Streamline Moderne filling station in Roanoke, Virginia, built around 1947 and remodeled circa 1953. Constructed of concrete block faced with stucco on a concrete slab foundation, this single-story service station exemplifies mid-century roadside commercial architecture. An associated repair shop built around the same time stands on the property. Located on Williamson Road, the station became a gathering place for local teenagers during the post-war years between 1947 and 1962, who came to view muscle car drag racing and cruising. The building was designated a Virginia Historic Landmark and listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2012.
