Madrid, Spain

Visible from the street; the inside is private.
The Casa de las Flores is a multifamily block of flats in Madrid's Chamberí district, designed by Secundino Zuazo in 1931 in the Rationalist style. It stands on the corner of Calle de la Princesa, and its balconies, decorated with flower boxes, give the building its name. Its central landscaped corridor has served as a model for architecture students studying the fifties and sixties.
